Shakespeare as Data

Shakespeare is a cultural touchstone--both his body of work and himself as a literary figure. As such, his work is often used as what Laura Estill calls a "testing ground" for new modes of criticism and new methodologies. How does Shakespeare work as a testing ground for understanding humanities data? This collection gathers together a selection of research resources related to this question.

Estill, Laura. “Digital Humanities’ Shakespeare Problem.” Humanities vol. 8, no. 1, p. 45, https://doi.org/10.3390/h8010045.
