  Full-time professor-researcher at the Autonomous University of the State of Mexico (UAEMex), where I have worked on open access solutions for scholarly publishing for over 20 years. I’m hold a PhD in Social Sciences.
  
  I am a multi-disciplinary scholar, with training in Sociology, Urban Studies, Social Theory and Education, with interests in a broad range of issues in scholarly communication, publishing, digital skills, but has paid special attention to open science and open access.
