Welcome to the Social Platform you were dreaming of: the HSS Commons

For years now, scholars have sought a one size fits all solution for sharing, collaborating and creating useful profiles.  Welcome to the HSS Commons Canada.

Using HSS Commons you can create your own blog, initiate collaborative workspaces, share files, upload a wide variety of content onto your repository collection, create a journal, a web site, a conference site (that you can manage), a researcher profile (etc).  Use your imagination!

You can even acquire a DOI for your submissions and integrate it with your ORCID account!

The HSS Commons Canada provides Canadian researchers with all this for free without any tracking of your - or your teams’ - online activity:

The Canadian HSS Commons is a resource for research, education, and collaboration. Members can share, access, develop, re-purpose, and preserve scholarly data and resources through our Repository. Create a user profile, connect to your academic association, build an interest group, and share content! You can collaborate on a project in a shared workspace, post CFPs, link a CV to your profile, and more. This non-profit network does not collect or sell user data.“

Use your ORCID to create an account and take advantage of its great features.  https://hsscommons.ca/en/

The Canadian HSS Commons is an Implementing New Knowledge Environments (INKE) Partnership initiative, in partnership with the Canadian Social Knowledge InstituteCANARIECompute Canada, the Electronic Textual Cultures Lab, the Federation for the Humanities and Social Sciences, the Modern Language Association, and others. “
